As well as the Instagram account it was decided that a Dogs of Leicester Twitter would be created and used to further give the Instagram notoriety as well as grow its own audience on twitter. The header and cover photo were changed to the same images as the Instagram in order to maintain a branding across both platforms. This would allow people to instantly recognise the branding and know they were related.Once the profile was set up I began following as many people from Leicester whilst retweeting dog related posts and images of dogs in an attempt to grow the account. some of the dogs that were posted on the Instagram, were also posted on our twitter.
