From this date, the account has been active for well over a month. from this point onwards the group decided to move the Instagram account more towards it running itself by getting users to submit dogs to the account for them to be posted. This massively reduces the amount of work that needs to be done by the group, if the public is willing to send us their dogs, we no longer have to go out and look for them allowing us to focus on other parts of the project.
Images like this were used to push people into sending photos of their own dogs with the promise they’ll be posted on our page as well as that their dog could be crowned dog of the day, turning it into a competition. Hashtags were also used to boost our post distance, some of the post’s hashtags included but were not limited to;
By using our own hashtags and already existing ones we can attract yet more people whilst growing our own account and hashtag.
